The health and wellness industry is fast approaching an annual turnover of 500 billion pounds; this is due to many factors,

An increasingly aging population who wish to stay active, High percentages of our population are entering their later years and are spending high percentages of their incomes on
looking and feeling good.
As the obesity epidemic takes hold across the world the wellness industry is growing rapidly and will shortly become a
mainstay of worldwide economy.
As understanding of the benefits of good nutrition reach more people across the world many are making choices which will
improve and prolong their lives.
This revolution in behaviour and spending is now recognised as the wellness revelation,
World renowned economist and author Paul Zane Pilzer predicts in his book “The Next Trillion” that the wellness industry will be the next major force in
worldwide business reaching an annual turnover of 1 trillion dollars by the year 2010.
In his book he says:
"The greatest opportunity in all products of new
technology, traditionally and in the future is in the DISTRIBUTION
of those products," he writes, "....the real money is made by people
who carry that invention from the laboratory to the consumer, and
make an impact on that consumer's life. Those people are the
DISTRIBUTORS of Wellness Products and Services.
We are starting to see the emergence of a wellness
distribution business... a business of people who educate people
about products and services that will improve their health and
develop customer relationships and then people will go back to their
distributor of that product for more and more information on food
and health.
